Laurent Alt
CEO
Laurent Alt started his career in 1987 at Thomson Digital Image (TDI) as software developer, creating the first animation package for articulated characters ever, and then 3D modeling. He then endorsed various positions at Dassault Systèmes during 14 years, in R&D management, corporate strategy and PLM consultant, with a focus on component architecture and collaborative processes. Lately, Laurent has managed the 3D geometry R&D team at SpaceClaim Corp., an American start-up company in the 3D shape design market.
Laurent brings to HD3D SAS his extensive knowledge of collaborative 3D and PLM products on a number of industries.
Laurent is a former student of the prestigious Ecole Normale Supérieure.
Blandine Nicolas
Program manager
Blandine Nicolas has started her career in 1987 as a developer at Thomson Digital Image (TDI) where she then became Product Manager. She then was the representative for new technology at the CNC (Centre National de la Cinématographie), and then technical production manager in animation studios Sparx and Pumpkin, where she has acquired a strong experience in the production of short and feature films, and animated series.
Blandine brings to HD3D SAS her exhaustive knowledge of the field of animation, digital cinema and video games, and their most recent technology.
Jean-Charles Hourcade
President of the Advisory Board
Jean-Charles Hourcade, former Directeur Général Adjoint at Thomson, in charge of Technology, Research, Innovation and Intellectual Property, has previously held the position of Vice President Strategic Planning at Thomson CSF, where he was in charge of Corporate Strategy, Alliances and Mergers and Acquisitions. He joined the Thomson group in February 1986, from the Institut National de l'Audiovisuel, where he had founded in 1982 the 3D computer graphics group. During the following years, he was the CEO of Thomson Digital Image (TDI), leader in 3D image synthesis. Jean-Charles Hourcade has been the president of RIAM from 2001 to 2004, and of the European technology platform NEM (Networked Electronic Media), and is a member of the Académie des Technologies.
Jean-Charles brings to HD3D SAS his global and in depth knowledge of the media technology and industry, as well as his ability to drive strategic choices in this domain.
